J. Schuyler Marvin

J. Schuyler Marvin was elected District Attorney of Bossier and Webster Parishes on November 5, 2002 and assumed office on January 13, 2003.

Prior to his election as District Attorney, Schuyler Marvin served as an assistant district attorney obtaining convictions in felony and misdemeanor cases, including trials for murder, rape, armed robbery, narcotics dealing, domestic violence, child abuse and molestation, and drunk driving. 

Schuyler, a native of the district,  and his wife, Jodi Comeaux Marvin, have three children, Sam, Kate, and Camille. They attend the First United Methodist Church.
